Description
This original, vintage dressing table stand is ‘sold as seen’. Overall it is in good, used condition. We have serviced, cleaned and polished this piece, applying a natural wax polish to the exterior wood surfaces but otherwise the finish is original. There are four drawers in total and they all slide with ease, are well constructed with dovetail joints and have clean, tidy interiors. The black Formica top is in very good order. The full-length mirror slots onto two uprights screwed in at the back. There is a further mechanism at the back of the mirror to allow it to be angled forward at the base. The piece sits on its original short, tapered legs which are also in very good order. There are minor signs of wear and tear and some sunlight fading to the exterior wood surfaces, very much in line with its age and function. The Stag label is no longer in place but this is a well-documented design from its C Range and we attribute it with absolute confidence.
