Description
This is an original, vintage piece that is ‘sold as seen’. It is in good, used condition. We have thoroughly serviced and cleaned the cabinet inside and out, reviving the oak with a natural beeswax polish but otherwise the finish is original and it’s in sound order with minor signs of wear and use. The upper section features a slim, double-sided bookcase / display shelf with sliding glass doors. The lower glazed bookcase features a removable shelf and a larger cabinet. All interiors are clean and tidy and the doors slide easily in their runners. One of the lower glass doors has a small chip to its upper corner, as shown, but when in place this doesn’t show. There is a small cupboard, also clean inside with just light signs of use. There is a further removable shelf and hinges, handle and closure are securely attached. There are minor knocks and blemishes to the external surfaces but nothing to flag. It’s wear you would expect with a vintage piece of this age. It’s well-made, solid and stable. There is no maker’s mark but it’s British in origin and dates from the early 1950s / post-war. Please do browse our photos and should you have any queries, do get in touch.
