Description
This is an original, vintage piece that is ‘sold as seen’. It is in good – very good, used condition. We have serviced and cleaned the wardrobe inside and out, and exterior surfaces have been thoughtfully restored. This involved carefully stripping back the original finish, followed by oil and then wax polish to restore it to its former glory. The wardrobe interior features a full-width fixed shelf at the top, four fixed cubby hole shelves and a hanging rail. The hanging rail is a little scarred with use but perfectly functional – please see our photo. The interior is in good, clean and tidy order with light signs of use, as shown. The door opens with a discreet, brass push button and then you pull to open. The closure and hinges are in very good, working order. The exterior surfaces are in very good order, following their restoration, but there are very light signs of wear and tear in line with the item’s considerable age and as you would expect.
