Vintage 1940s Oak Two Drawer Dresser / Console

This British-made oak piece is a handsome vintage catch, destined to be a really handy piece of furniture in the home. Well-made with a simple, elegant design, it’s lived a lifetime already but is in great original order. Use as a vanity stand or smaller dresser in the bedroom. Or it could serve well as a console in a sitting room, in an entrance hall or the landing. We love the subtle decorative trim on the back border and the brass handles.

Description

This original, used piece is ‘sold as seen’. It is in good, vintage condition. It has been checked and cleaned inside and out but otherwise the finish is original and as such it comes with some minor marks, chips and knocks which can be seen across our photos. The two drawers are nicely made with dovetail joints and their original brass handles are securely attached. They slide easily and have clean-tidy interiors. It’s a well-made piece that’s solid and stable with no repairs or areas of concern. Do browse through our photos for an accurate sense of its condition.
