Set of Six Rare Original Ercol Adult Size Stacking Chairs
This set of Ercol chairs is something very special indeed. Not only are Ercol full / adult size, single bar stacking chairs a highly prized find, rarer still, this is a set of six, and even more extraordinary is they are in really good original condition. So often these particular chairs are battered and bruised, mainly because they were produced for high use in commercial settings, rather than the home, hence being robustly designed and stackable. Description
This sale is for a set of six adult-side Ercol stacking chairs. These are original, vintage dining chairs that are ‘sold as seen’. They are in very good, used condition. They have been cleaned and a natural beeswax polish applied but otherwise their original finish has been left well alone. As you will see from our photos there are minor scuffs and marks to the wood here and there, primarily on the seat tops as you might expect – please refer to our photos. We would categorise this has light wear in line with their age and function. As you would expect from Ercol, the chairs are superbly crafted, solid and stable with no wobbles. The blue Ercol sticker is in place on four out of six chairs.
