Rare Pair of Midcentury Orange Acrylic & Chrome Kandya Stacking Chairs

Of course, Kandya is more well-known for its collaboration with Danish designer Carl Jacobs and the resulting C3, bent ply ‘Jason’ chair but these bright, bold orange acrylic and chrome stacking chairs are a joy, not to be overlooked. If you do a quick search for these chairs, you’ll see that they’re a rarity. Designed to stack, the molded seat is contoured for a very comfortable sit. Aside from the vivid colour, our favourite design detail is the exaggerated lines of the chrome legs. We love the silhouette on all sides. Set round a kitchen table, use in the office or at a dressing table, or have as occasional chairs, these are a highly collectable pair.

Description

This is a pair of original, used chairs and they are ‘sold as seen’. They are both in very good, vintage condition. The seats have been thoroughly cleaned and buffed, as has the metal chrome legs. There are minor signs of wear along with some light tarnishing to the metalwork but overall their condition is super. Please refer to our photos for a good sense of their order.
