Description
This original, vintage chair pair is ‘sold as seen’. They are in good – very good, used condition. The solid, wooden oak frames has been checked, thoroughly cleaned and a natural wax polish applied and buffed to revive the finish but otherwise its all original. As such, the chair frames do carry very minor, superficial knocks and marks here and there but nothing to call out. This wear and tear is light and in line with their considerable age. Do browse our photos for an accurate sense of this. The curved back rests and seat pads have been fully reupholstered with new foam, materials and 100% wool upholstery fabric. The chairs are solid and sturdy with no wobbles. Sadly the maker’s label is no longer in place on either chair but it’s a well-documented design so we attribute it with 100% confidence to RD Russell for Gordon Russell. Alternatively, we can arrange fast, UK mainland delivery with trusted delivery partners who cover most of the country (enquire for Scotland or remote addresses) and are reliable and insured. We have a weekly collection and onward delivery usually follows 1-5 days later. The delivery service we can offer does require a little flexibility as the drivers work to predetermined routes with other delivery obligations, but you would be kept updated.
