Description
This original, preloved sofa is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good, used condition. The sofa has been checked and the leather upholstery cleaned with a specialist nourishing balm. The original dark brown leather upholstery is in very good order across the cushions – it’s thick, soft and supple. There are six in total with working zips and plump inners, all in very good order. There are very minor signs of wear to the seat cushion tops, a little wrinkling here and there, as shown, but this is a feature of used leather and very much part of its character and appeal. The fixed leather on the sofa frame is also in very good order, hugging the contours of the frame tightly. The finishing cloth underneath is in good order too with just light, speckled marks and there are just minor surface scuffs to the blonde beech, solid wood legs. The sofa is superbly constructed, with no wobbles, creaks or signs of repair. It’s imported directly from Denmark and most likely dates from the late 20th century / 1980s. Sadly there is no maker’s mark but this particular design is well-documented and it was attributed at source. It’s a very fine sofa made with superior construction and quality leather. Alternatively, we can arrange fast, UK mainland delivery with trusted delivery partners who cover most of the country (enquire for Scotland or remote addresses) and are reliable and insured. We have a weekly collection and onward delivery usually follows 1-5 days later. The delivery service we can offer does require a little flexibility as the drivers work to predetermined routes with other delivery obligations, but you would be kept updated. You are also welcome to collect from us either in Haverhill, Suffolk or near Diss, Suffolk and we’re happy to hold pieces after purchase while you consider your options and make collection arrangements.
