Description
This original, vintage sofa is ‘sold as seen’. It is in good, used condition. The sofa has been checked and the leather upholstery cleaned with a specialist nourishing balm. The original mid-brown leather upholstery is in good order on the cushions. There are six cushions in total with working zips and plump cushion inners, all in good order. There are signs of wear and tear, some wrinkling and superficial scuffs, primarily on the seat cushions as they bear the brunt of use, but this is entirely as you would expect with used leather and is part of its nature. The fixed leather upholstery on the frame is in good order too, again with wrinkles, knocks and marks as shown, but we would classify this as minor in the overall context of the piece. Do browse our photos which show this. The finishing cloth underneath the seat cushions is lightly marked. Nothing unsavoury but as you can see in our photos, additional strips have been added to cover these marks and stabilise the finishing cloth. We haven’t done this ourselves but it’s been well done and obviously it doesn’t show as it’s underneath the cushions. The sofa is well constructed, solid and sturdy with no wobbles or creaks. It dates from the 1970s and was imported directly from Denmark. Please do browse our photos for a good sense of its condition and order. Alternatively, we can arrange fast, UK mainland delivery with trusted delivery partners who cover most of the country (enquire for Scotland or remote addresses) and are reliable and insured. We have a weekly collection and onward delivery usually follows 1-5 days later. The delivery service we can offer does require a little flexibility as the drivers work to predetermined routes with other delivery obligations, but you would be kept updated. You are also welcome to collect from us either in Haverhill, Suffolk or near Diss, Suffolk and we’re happy to hold pieces after purchase while you consider your options and make collection arrangements.
