Original Midcentury Swedish Orange Desk Spotlight

A midcentury original that hails from Sweden, this authentic, vivid orange spotlight channels vintage good looks. It dates from the late 1960s / early 1970s and it’s in fantastic condition with just light signs of wear and tear. The spotlight can be extended and rotated in lots of different directions on its heavy, weighted base and there are screw joints on the arms to secure it into position when you’ve got the lighting angle just right. Newly restored and tested to comply with today’s regulations, it comes ready to plug in and illuminate. A fine heritage piece for a reading spot, by the bedside or at the desk.

Description

This original, restored desk light is ‘sold as seen’. The overall condition of this piece is very good. Restored, rewired with braided, black fabric coated flex and PAT tested, all switches and extending / moving mechanisms and springs are in excellent working order. The spotlight swivels and the extending arm rotates on the base to ensure you can get the angle just right. As you can see from our photos, there are some very light scuffs here and there but these are minimal.  The Made in Sweden stamp can be seen imprinted on the lower stem. Please refer to our photos for an overall sense of the condition.
