Original G Plan ‘Fresco’ Chest of Drawers
A super neat, compact teak chest of drawers by E Gomme G Plan from its ever-popular Fresco range. Sitting on long, tapered legs, there are three generous drawers for storage with the top one, sectioned. A versatile piece, this would be as at home in the bedroom as it would the lounge or dining room, used as a small dresser. There are light signs of use from its previous lives, to be expected, but overall it’s a cracking vintage piece in solid order at your service.

Description
This original, vintage chest of drawers is ‘sold as seen’. It is in good – very good, used condition. It has been thoroughly cleaned inside and out, and a natural beeswax polish applied to the exterior wood. All three drawers slide with ease, are well made with solid teak drawer fronts and dovetail joints, and have clean, tidy interiors. The top drawer is sectioned in two. The external wood carries some light scuffs and marks here and there but overall these are minor and in line with its age. There is a little sunlight fading on the top surface – something, most likely a separate G Plan shelf unit, has rested on top, creating a faint sun line around the edges. And on the right hand side panel, there are some small chips on the front corner and along the bottom edge, shown in our photos. In the overall context of the piece, neither of these things are particularly noticeable. It’s well made, solid and stable as you would expect from G Plan, and the E Gomme label is still attached to the back. Please do browse our photos for an accurate sense of its great order.
