Midcentury Danish Brown Spotlight Floor Lamp – Fully Restored
The high gloss, chocolate brown spotlight with a wide open face partners with the silver chrome arm and stem wonderfully to create a sculptural, striking lamp. The trumpet spotlight that can be height-adjusted and rotated on its arm to get the illumination just where you need it. Originating from Denmark, it dates from the 1970s and comes with provenance and midcentury good looks. Now fully restored to modern compliance standards, it’s ready plug in and bring light to your life.
Description
This original, vintage floor lamp is ‘sold as seen’. It is in good – very good, used condition and has been fully restored with care and expertise. The lamp has been rewired with new black, fabric-braided flex, an energy efficient bulb and plug, and it has PAT tested to meet modern regulations. The switch is integrated into the spotlight at the back as you can see in our pictures. The spotlight can be angled with a ball joint arm, and it can be height-adjusted on the main stem by unscrewing / tightening the arm. As you can see from our photos, the metalwork including the weighted base carries very minor tarnishes and scratches – please refer to our photos). This light wear is in line with its age and we don’t feel it detracts from the appeal of the piece. It’s imported from Denmark and dates from the 1970s.
