Midcentury Danish Brown & Chrome Double Spotlight Floor Lamp – Fully Restored
A smart, double, high gloss brown, spotlight floor lamp that hails from Denmark and dates from the 1970s. It’s been restored, rewired and tested for today’s homes. The spotlights can be angled on their long chrome arms and height-adjusted on the two-tone stem to get the soft lighting pointed to just where it’s needed. Great for behind a chair, by the bedside, in the office or to illuminate a dull spot.
Description
This original, vintage floor lamp is ‘sold as seen’. It is in good – very good, used condition and has been fully restored with care and expertise. The lamp has been rewired with new black, fabric-braided flex, energy efficient bulbs, independent switches, along with a new plug, and it has PAT tested to meet modern regulations. The spotlights can be angled with the screw arm joints, and they can be height-adjusted on the main stem by unscrewing / tightening these arms. As you can see from our photos, the metalwork carries tarnishes, small dents and scratches, as does the weighted base, as you might expect with a vintage piece but overall these are minor and we don’t feel detract greatly from the appeal of the piece. It comes from Denmark, imported directly and dates from the 1970s.
