Description
This is an original, vintage piece that is ‘sold as seen’. Overall, it is in good – very good, used condition. We have checked and cleaned the desk inside and out. We have lightly restored the desktop with stripping, sanding, oil and beeswax polish to remove the heavier wear. The other external wood surfaces have had a natural beeswax polish applied. The six drawers all slide with ease, feature dovetail joints and have clean, tidy interiors. Sadly we do not have the key. The exterior wood carries minor knocks, blemishes and scuffs but this is commensurate with its age and function as a ‘working’ piece. Please browse our photos for an accurate sense of this piece’s order. This is a very well-made piece that’s solid and sturdy. There is no maker’s stamp but we’ve sold many Domino Mobler desks across the years so attribute it with confidence. If you have any questions or would like to view, do get in touch.

Alternatively, we can arrange fast, UK mainland delivery with trusted delivery partners who cover most of the country (enquire for Scotland or remote addresses) and are reliable and insured. We have a weekly collection and onward delivery usually follows 1-5 days later. The delivery service we can offer does require a little flexibility as the drivers work to predetermined routes with other delivery obligations, but you would be kept updated. You are also welcome to collect from us either in Haverhill, Suffolk or near Diss, Suffolk and we’re happy to hold pieces after purchase while you consider your options and make collection arrangements.
