Description
This original, vintage dining room suite is ‘sold as seen’. It is in good – very good, used condition. We have checked and cleaned the table, applying a natural beeswax polish to nourish the wood and restore shine but otherwise the finish is all original and as such as, there some minor knocks, superficial marks and light signs of use. This wear and tear is minimal overall, hence us opting not to complete a restoration – it doesn’t warrant it yet in our view but that is always an option now or further down the line, depending on your preference. We’ve shown some of the light scuffs on the table top which in the overall context of the piece are hardly noticeable. This set of four original, vintage chairs is comprised of three regular dining chairs and one carver. They are in very good, used condition. The frames have been checked, cleaned and a neutral beeswax polish applied to their wood but otherwise the finish is original here too. The finish across the chair frames does carry very minor, superficial scuffs and marks here and there but nothing to call out. This wear and tear is light and in line with their considerable age. Do browse our photos for an accurate sense of this. The seat pads have been professionally reupholstered with a charcoal grey, Melton wool that’s thick, hardwearing and neutral. The chairs are solid and sturdy with no wobbles. Sadly the maker’s label is no longer in longer place on any of the pieces but they are a very well-documented design so we attribute it with confidence to A Younger and John Herbert. We have a weekly collection and onward delivery usually follows 1-5 days later. The delivery service we can offer does require a little flexibility as the drivers work to predetermined routes with other delivery obligations, but you would be kept updated.
