Authentic Danish 1970s Gold Double Spotlight Floor Lamp by Lyskaer Belysning – Fully Restored

A rather glamorous, vintage floor lamp with brushed gold, double spotlights, each with independent switches, and a tall gold stem, base and arms. These elongated, narrow-bodied spotlights can be height-adjusted, rotated and angled to get the glow just right in two directions. Set behind a chair for reading, by the bedside, over a desk, next to your sideboard, to illuminate wall art, it will work anywhere where a double burst of soft light is needed.

Description

This original, vintage floor lamp is ‘sold as seen’. It is in good – very good, used condition and has been fully restored with care and expertise. The lamps have been rewired with new black, fabric-braided flex, energy efficient bulbs, switches and plug, and it has PAT tested to meet modern regulations. The spotlights can be angled with the original screw arm joints, and they can be height-adjusted on the main stem by unscrewing / tightening these arms. As you can see from our photos, the metalwork carries minor tarnishes, small dents and scratches, as does the weighted base, as you might expect with a vintage piece but these are minor and don’t in any way detract from the appeal of the piece. It’s imported from Denmark and dates from the 1970s. You can see the remnants of the Lyskaer Belysning maker’s sticker inside one of the lampshades.
