A refined pair of midcentury dining chairs from AH McIntosh of Kirkcaldy, made in the 1960s and mixing Scandinavian design influence with more traditional British style sensibilities. McIntosh furniture is synonymous with superior craftsmanship and quality wood, and you can see that here in these elegant chairs. That gentle curve on the back legs is a wonderful detail. We have reupholstered the seat pads, covering them with a bright, textured, olive green pure wool from Bute fabrics, which we think looks grand against the teak frames. Overall a fantastic pair of vintage dining chairs that come with an excellent pedigree, brought up to date with some fresh new fabric.
