Ercol’s vintage Goldsmith chairs are among some of their most popular. This pair of elbow chairs are tall and elegant with the signature, curved ‘moustache’ top. And we love the upturn of the arms on the carver in particular. They come in their original finish, which is a little worn here and there, and date from the 1980s. Constructed with beech legs and English elm seats, they are solid wood so robust and well-made. If you wished to fully restore them further down the line, you have that option. Originally intended to sit around kitchen table or in a dining room, we see our customers use Ercol chairs in any room of the house from bathroom to hall to bedroom as a feature piece and occasional seat.
