A design evolution of the more commonly seen sharp-lined, chiselled Scandinavian sofas is this gently curvaceous couch. It’s a prestige, high-end piece by Danish manufacturer, Mogens Hansen. We feel it would be remise to call it a 2.5 seater as at its widest point it’s over 1.9m, so amply a standard three seater. But the curves and the design with two large seat and back cushions, rather than three, create an illusion of a smaller sofa. And it’s so very handsome. From the arcing back to the open curves of the arms, it feels inviting and refined in equal measure. Supremely comfortable with plump, generous cushions surrounding you, it would make a stylish, sophisticated main lounge sofa.
