A fine piece of quality British midcentury design, this rectangular dining table dates from the early 1960s and comes with an exemplary pedigree, designed and made by Gordon Russell. Its proportions and design are neat and tidy, comfortably seating four and making it perfect for the kitchen or small dining area. Pull out the extension which resides cleverly underneath and insert in the middle to increase its capacity to six diners. The finish here is all original, such is its fantastic order and the stripes of wood grain elevate this table from the ordinary, with golden walnut stripes running the width of the table top to meet different wood on borders and legs.
