Originally designed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen and produced by Fritz Hansen in 1960s, the appeal of this iconic statement X chair endures. So called because of the dramatic curved X form on the sides of the solid laminated beech wood frame, it’s an expertly balanced piece of design. This particular chair dates from 1982 and comes with its original square-paneled, green tweed wool upholstery, along with the maker’s labels underneath adding to its provenance and value. A collector’s chair in great condition, one to snap up and savour.
