A particularly handsome Danish dresser / cabinet with a fantastic pedigree. Designed by Christian Hvidt for AS Søborg Møbelfabrik in the 1970s, its elegant, clean design is expertly constructed in ash, a welcome, lighter change to teak. Check out the corner joints – what craftsmanship, what care. Behind the doors are two cupboards featuring height-adjustable shelves so plentiful storage here. And the height of this cabinet allows you to display on its top surface too. The unfussy design that doesn’t scream ‘mid century’ and the blond wood make this a neutral piece that will work well in a mixed style interior. It will sit just as comfortably alongside more traditional pieces as it will mid-century ones.
