Midcentury 1970s Danish Leather HW Klein Egg Chair for Bramin

This iconic egg chair, designed by HW Klein for Bramin, is in cracking, original condition. Its wonderfully retro egg shape, combined with its voluminous, floppy, padded leather cushion, make this chair a very comfortable statement piece with enduring appeal. The archetypal lounge chair. Bramin started out under the name N.A. Jorgensen in the 1950s and produced quality, modern furniture up to the early 1980s. As a much respected Danish manufacturer, they collaborated with a number of high profile Danish designers, such as Hans Olsen and Kurt Ostervig, but it was HW Klein who produced some of their most well-known, classic pieces, including this leather egg chair.  Great of course in a family living space for TV watching or reading but wherever it goes folk will be fighting to sit in it.
