As midcentury furniture goes, this is a heavyweight contender in every sense! A very substantial, tall sideboard with almost every kind of storage in play – drawers, shelves, cupboards – along with a drinks cabinet, bureau and bookcase. It’s grand, handsome and multi-functional with everything the modern home could need in one piece, in one place. Made by Roseberry Furniture, we can find out very little about the maker but we believe it was likely part of B&S Goodman. The design and construction date the piece to the early 1960s. If you have the space then this would look magnificent as a focal point in an open plan room. It’s also worth noting that for all it is tall and wide, its widest depth is shallow at 38cm.
