Large Midcentury 1960s G Plan ‘Sierra’ Teak Sideboard

Designed by Donald Gomme as part of his 1960’s Sierra range for G Plan, this is the much sought after, large teak sideboard. And it is large at over 2M in width! Expertly made in a mix of solid teak, teak veneer and afromosia on the base, the wood grain is striped in honey-toned bands, a beautiful characteristic of aged wood. It packs in a great deal of storage with a large, double door cupboard, three drawers at the top and a fall-door drinks cabinet. It’s ideal for the dining room, lounge or family space where things need to be stowed regularly. Overall, the design is solid and substantial with chunky legs and sharp lines giving a boxy, blocky look. We love the recessed upper drawers. Make a serious midcentury style statement with a grand, ‘hero’ piece like this in your home.
