At almost half a metre in diameter, this is a large, matt white, vintage shade by Danish manufacturer, Lyfa, is designed to make an impact when hung into position. It’s unmistakably midcentury, dating from the 1970s. The tiered shades mean that, when switched on, the light spills out at the different levels, creating illunimated bands as well as downward glow. A simple, clean, elegant design that makes a subtle statement.
