A classic, Danish, black leather couch that stays true to the Scandinavian midcentury aesthetic of form and function in perfect harmony. At a glance the design is unfussy and simple but there are subtle bends and curves, like the outward bow of the arms, that add an elegance and softness to this clean-lined sofa. The proportions are perfect for family lounging at well over 2.1M in width, with a generous seat depth and plump, supple cushions all around. And we must mention the quality of the leather on this sofa – it’s exceptional, thick and robust with few signs of wear or use. This style of sofa can be tricky to definitively attribute… it’s obviously similar to Borge Morgensen but also Erik Marquardsen, Stouby and Erik Jorgensen. We believe it’s most likely a later Mogens Hansen model. Regardless, this sofa is a high-end piece of great quality.
