Vintage British Midcentury Neat Teak Sideboard with Curved Front
Most conventional vintage sideboards are long and can be tricky pieces for modern homes to accommodate, taking up too much space in a room. This compact sideboard, however, has neat, leaner proportions and would be a practical and handsome addition to any interior. The richly patterned, honey-toned wood is in exceptional condition both across the front and on the top surface. The curved front is a gorgeous design flourish, adding elegance and it offers plenty of useful storage with six drawers of differing sizes.

This is an authentic, vintage piece that is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good-excellent, used condition. We have lightly cleaned and polished the teak veneer sideboard with a natural beeswax. The drawers are in excellent condition and move with ease. The internal wood is clean, tidy and in super order. The external wood is also in very good condition. There are some very minor scuffs in line with its age, including a small veneer chip at the front shown in a photo. Any marks are very small and certainly don’t detract from the piece. The top surface which is usually the most marked area is in excellent shape. This piece was originally a dressing table as you can see from the back but it’s been used as a sideboard primarily. It’s well constructed, solid and with no repairs. Sadly there is no maker’s mark but we believe it to be a British made piece.
