Vintage Hi-Fi System with Goldring Lenco GL78 Turntable, Power Amp & Speakers

This high-end, vintage, hi-fi separates system dates from 1970’s and combines superb build quality with great looks. The Swiss-made Goldring Lenco GL78 turntable is one of the most sought after vintage turntables of the era, featuring exceptional sound quality and housed on a heavyweight, teak laminated plinth. This example comes with a Shure M75EJM Type 2 cartridge and stylus. The solid state Eagle International AA6 Amplifier housed in a teak case is partnered with a pair of British-made Dynatron LS3038 speakers to produce a warm, retro analogue sound. The amp has fully working tuner and tape inputs so you can easily add a Bluetooth adapter to play your digital device.

Description

These original, vintage pieces are ‘sold as seen’ with no warranty. They are all in good, used condition. The Goldring turntable is in great working condition. The motor runs smoothly and quietly, the idler wheel is in good condition, and the speed controls are nice and smooth. The anti-skate mechanism is complete and is in full working order. The teak plinth has a few small marks and scratches, and the poseable, hinged lid is in excellent order with a few superficial marks and scratches, including an small area at the back where it looks like something hot has been placed on it. We have replaced the power cable to meet modern standards and it has been PAT tested. Please refer to our photos for a good sense of condition. The amplifier is fully working with no hisses or crackles, and all channels are operational. We have replaced the internal amp fuses and the amp has been PAT tested. The speakers are also in great condition. One speaker has a small tear to the front cover, as can be seen in the pictures.
