An iconic piece of British midcentury design from Lucian Ercolani, this Windsor coffee table is in superb restored condition and ready to add instant style and kudos to any modern interior. It has a blond elm top with the most beautiful grain and beech splayed legs, and underneath is a slatted magazine shelf for your periodicals. This Ercol coffee table is characterised by its softly tapered, elm table top that gently slopes off. There is no hard edge or angle, the design flows. Set in front of the family couch, place it by a favourite lounge chair or let it take centre stage in the middle of your living room, wherever this piece goes it’s practical and unobtrusive. A classic piece of furniture that’s instantly recognisable and will never go out of fashion.

This is an original piece that is ‘sold as seen’. It is in overall very good, used condition. It’s have been partially restored with the top surface lightly sanded back, oil applied and a wax polish to give a durable, hardwearing finish that retains the original colour and grain. The legs have been cleaned and a natural wax polish applied but nothing further. The table is solid and sturdy with no wobbles or signs of repair. The original ‘This is an Ercol Production’ blue sticker is in place and this dates this item between 1957-1974 but it’s construct and wear lead us to believe it’s a 1960s piece.
