Vintage Danish Patchwork Brown Leather Footstool
A handsome, square-topped footstool with a black metal base, hailing from 1970’s Denmark, it’s in solid, vintage condition. Its neutral, mid-brown colour and patchwork design means it can be partnered with any sofa or chair, regardless of style, material or colour.
Description
This original, used piece is ‘sold as seen’. It’s in good, vintage condition. We have given the original leather a clean with leather balm. There are wrinkles, light fading and marks to the leather top, part of its vintage appeal and in line with its age and function. It should be noted that the patchwork top is real leather but the side panels are hard-wearing vinyl. The black, four legged, metal stand is a lightly scuffed here and there, and one of the original plastic feet is partially missing but this doesn’t affect the stability of the footstool. This damage is reflected in our price. It’s a well-made footstool that’s solid and sturdy, strong and large enough to be used as an occasional seat. Sadly there is no maker’s mark but was sourced directly from Denmark.
