Vintage Danish Midcentury Brown Leather Lounge Chair
The classic Danish leather low armchair with a sophisticated, masculine profile from all sides. For all that this is a clean-lined, unfussy piece of design, there are subtle flourishes that elevate it to a super stylish seat… like the kick of the back legs and the long, exaggerated curve of the arms. The tilt of this chair is just perfect too, making it a very comfortable sit. And the original dark brown leather is in fantastic condition. Its lean good looks means it will fit quietly in alongside other styles of seating.
This is an original, vintage piece that is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good, used condition. We have cleaned leather upholstery. It’s in excellent order and although it carries some wrinkles and marks from use, these are minimal and what you might expect from vintage leather. The finishing fabric underneath the two cushions is a little marked but this isn’t visible. The chair’s very well made, sturdy and solid with no signs of repair. The wooden legs are lightly scuffed but again this is minimal. Sadly there isn’t a maker’s mark but it’s a piece imported directly from Denmark so comes with a good pedigree.
