Vintage British 1970s Midcentury Small Teak Sideboard

A really neat sideboard offering practical storage and quietly handsome good looks, this would be a super addition to a busy family home. Use as a dressing table, compact sideboard or media unit, its unfussy design and compact proportions mean it won’t intrude. British-made in teak / teak veneer, it’s a well constructed piece that’s solid and sturdy. We like the inset handles which are reminiscent of mid century G Plan.

Description

This original, used piece is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good, vintage condition. The piece has been cleaned and a natural beeswax polish applied. The four drawers slide with ease and are in good tidy order internally. The top left drawer has a liner stuck into place. We’ve left it there as often a sticky residue is left when removed – it’s clean and well-adhered. There are minor scuffs and marks to the external wood, particularly on the top surface as you might expect but these are comparatively minor and don’t detract from the appeal of the piece. Please refer to our photos for an accurate sense of it’s super condition. It’s well-mace, solid and sturdy with no signs of repair. It has much to offer in the modern home.
