Vintage Midcentury British Avalon Teak Drinks Cabinet
A cracking slice of nostalgic British furniture from the 1960’s / 1970’s when no home was without a dedicated drinks cabinet! Made by Avalon, this midcentury piece has lots of retro charisma but it would serve well in the modern home too, and not just limited to drinks storage either. It could be put to good use as free-standing pantry in the kitchen or as dining room storage.

All three doors are in good order. The top section door pulls down to become a serving table for mixing cocktails. Inside is a glass shelf and a mirrored back. In the bottom section, the doors open to reveal one large open storage area with the original shelf in place.
The teak veneer is in excellent shape, considering its years, and it’s has richly patterned grain. There is one very small area where the veneer has chipped off but it’s barely noticeable. The handles are solid teak. See our photos for an accurate picture of the excellent condition of this piece.
This is a well-made, solidly constructed piece of furniture that’s stood the test of time and has much more to give. If you have any questions or would like to view this piece, please do get in touch.
