Vintage 1970’s Norwegian Low Leather Bentwood Chair
This retro, Norwegian leather lounge chair, dating from the seventies, has a unfussy simplicity to its design. The bentwood frame cradles you as you sit and the deep brown leather, segmented cushions are soft and supple. Looking handsome from all angles, this will sit comfortably alongside other lounge seating or work as a stand-alone chair in an office, boudoir or in that spot where a neat chair would create a homely feel and a quiet place for contemplation.
This is a used, vintage piece that is ‘sold as seen’. We would describe it as in good condition. The chair has been thoroughly cleaned and leather nourished. It’s soft and supple. There are some creases and minor marks on the leather but these are very minimal. The canvas under the leather cushions is a little sunlight faded particularly at the back. You will notice there is a minor indentation on the left hand side of the top segmented leather panel. We suspect this is where something has been rested on the leather. It’s superficial and with use this will most likely lessen and fade but we wanted to be transparent about it.
