Vintage 1970s Danish Brown Leather Easy Chair
If you’re after a super comfy, lounge chair with cool, laid-back style and lived-in charm then this is for you. A classic Danish brown leather armchair with clean, unfussy lines from all sides. We love the central top-stitched seam that runs down the arms. It comes with minor scuffs and marks from its former life but this is part of vintage leather’s appeal. It’s destined to become someone’s favourite chair whether that be in a lounge, study, bedroom or office.
Description
This original, vintage Danish chair is ‘sold as seen’. It is in good, used condition. We have cleaned the leather upholstery and applied a natural, nourishing leather balm. The original brown leather upholstery is good order with no rips or tears. There are minor scuffs and patchy areas, most likely caused by sunlight but these don’t detract from the appeal of the chair. The cushions are plump with inners in very good order and working zips. The dark wood legs are solid and stable, as is the rest of the frame. We can see no visible repairs to the frame or upholstery. It’s in good overall shape and although the original maker’s mark is no longer affixed, it’s a very well made piece with considerable charm and with great comfort. Please refer to our various photos for an accurate sense of the condition of this item.
