Smart Vintage 1970s Glass Front Bookcase with Drawers
These retro glass door bookcases never stick around for long and it’s no wonder because they are really practical items for both storage and display. This particular unit comes two lower drawers for those things you perhaps don’t want seen. It’s well-made and in great order on all sides with clean, tidy interior woodwork too. Its shallow depth appeals very much too as it won’t intrude into the room, taking up valuable space. It’s proportions are neat and compact.
Description
This is an original, vintage piece that is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good – excellent, used condition. We have cleaned and lightly polished it with a natural beeswax polish but have otherwise left the original finish well alone. The glass doors are excellent order and slide with ease. There is a height adjustable shelf in side the cabinet. The two lower drawers move with ease and are in clean, tidy order internally. There are some minor scuffs and marks to the exterior wood but nothing specific to call out, just light wear because of its years and use. Sadly there is no maker’s mark attached but we believe it to be British-made.
