Set of Six Ercol Model 365 Quaker Dining Chairs
These tall, arched ‘Quaker’ chairs are amongst the most elegant of Ercol’s extensive dining chair range and were originally produced from the late 1950s to the mid 1980s. It’s rare to find a 1970’s set of six in such excellent condition. Made from solid elm and beech ‘blond’ woods with five-spindled backs and generous seat height, these wider seat models offer much comfort for long, slow dinner parties. Also included are the original detachable Ercol seat pads, as pictured.

Description
These are original, vintage chairs that are ‘sold as seen’. They are in very good-excellent, used condition, with only minor signs of wear. The chairs have been cleaned and a natural beeswax polish applied but the original finish has otherwise been left well alone because it’s in such good order. Included are the official floral Ercol seat pads with affix to the base of the chair seats with poppers. These too are in good condition for their age and although they are perhaps not as fashionable as they were when these chairs were first sold in the 1970s/1980s, they have offered great protection to the wood underneath and do add an extra element of comfort. They would easily and cost effectively be recovered in more contemporary fabric. The chairs are all solid and sturdy with no signs of repair. Sadly the Ercol maker’s sticker is no longer affixed to any of the chairs.
