Description
This is a restore, retro-fitted original, vintage item that is ‘sold as seen’. It includes the record platter and pair of speakers. This Prinzsound Hi-Fi is in great condition for its considerable years. There are some minor scratches to the woodwork and the veneer has been damaged in places. These can be seen in the photographs and do not detract from the look of the piece. The stereo does not have a preamp so the turntable works with an older style piezoelectric cartridge – this has been replaced with brand new model. It has a super warm sound, provided by some high-end vintage Wharfdale speakers. There is a very slight crackle when you adjust the volume, but this only occurs very occasionally while the volume is adjusted. The item has been cleaned, refurbished and PAT tested. We have also retro-fitted an internal Bluetooth system which can be accessed via the tuner selector switch so you can use it to play digital radio, I-tunes, Spotify etc., from any compatible device. These systems are very hard to come by in this condition and we are delighted that this one is fit to be used and enjoyed for many years to come.
