Restored Midcentury Danish Double Brown Spotlight Floor Lamp
An authentic, vintage, Danish, double spotlight floor lamp that’s been fully restored for the modern home. With a tall chrome stem, this stylish lighting oozes vintage charm with its trumpet-style, lamp heads and fittings. The spotlights can be height-adjusted on the stem and also rotated on their arms to get the lighting right where you need it. It does come with some of life’s minor scuffs and knocks but nevertheless this is a very good looking midcentury lamp that would look at home in any room of the modern house from living space to bedroom to study.
Description
This original, vintage floor lamp is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good, used condition and has been fully restored with care and expertise. The lamp has been rewired with new, black fabric-braided flex, energy efficient bulbs, a new independent switches and plug, and it has PAT tested to meet modern regulations. The spotlights can be angled by simply rotating them on their arms, and they can be height-adjusted on the main stem by unscrewing / tightening this arm. As you can see from our photos, the metalwork carries minor tarnishes and scratches, particularly the weighted base, as you might expect with a vintage piece but these are minor and don’t in any way detract from the appeal of the piece. Indeed, they are part of its history and charm. Sadly there is no maker’s mark but this is a lamp acquired from Denmark, dating from the early seventies.
