Rare Norwegian Ceramic Vase By Bror Börsum
A rare Bror Börsum ceramic vase with a textured, grid pattern finish of recessed lines in black over blue glaze. Although small, it’s beautifully formed and is a collector’s piece to be cherished.
Börsum hailed from Oslo, Norway. He bought Utterbergs workshop in Manhem, Mariefred in 1967. He worked with high-burnt and sintered earthenware, Dutch clay and covering glazes.
This piece is excellent vintage condition. It’s stamped “Börsum” and hand-signed on the bottom, adding to its provenance.
