Rare Edwardian Cadbury’s Counter Top Glass & Oak Display Cabinet
A glorious collector’s piece from the early 1900’s, originally made for the corner shop, this glass-sided, counter top, display cabinet would have showcased Cadbury’s latest chocolate offering and kept small fingers from touching them! It has a hand-painted front with ‘Cadbury’s Chocolate Absolutely Pure therefore the Best’ and ‘By Royal Authority To Her Late Majesty Queen Victoria’ at the base. It comes with three glass shelves inside and with its neat proportions would be a super piece to display quirky treasures in the home (or simply somewhere to keep your chocolate stash under lock and key!). It’s a real talking point and a very rare find.
