Original Vintage Danish Orange Leather Swivel Chair

This chair demands to be centre of attention! With its original orange leather upholstery, exaggerated ‘egg’ curves and swivel action, it’s a statement piece and is so much fun. It’s a Danish midcentury classic piece, most likely from the late 1960s / early 1970s, and it’s in excellent shape, looking good from all sides.

Description

This authentic  Scandinavian swivel chair is in excellent vintage condition. The frame is structurally sound, stable and sturdy and as you might expect it’s very comfortable. The original orange leather upholstery is in excellent condition as is the finishing cloth underneath the three cushions. There are wrinkles on the arm ends and also the front edge of the seat cushion, as you would expect with leather. There are some scuffs to the back of the chair too (see our photos) but overall these are not particularly noticeable. The swivel mechanism is in good order but one of the black plastic caps on the pronged feet is a little broken. Refer to our photos to see the condition of the chair.
