Pair of Original Danish Hamalux Orange Magnetic Bubble Table Lamps
Sold as a matching pair, these small, 1970’s Hamalux bubble lamps have got much character and charm. Carefully restored to maintain their authenticity and originality, they have a clever magnetic design that holds the main bubble shade in place in the base stand. To adjust the angle / position of the shade, simply swivel the shade. A very neat design feature. The vivid orange enamel with a white interior is all original. They would make a handsome matching pair on bedside tables or in fact any where in the home. Wherever these little lights go they will be a talking point.
Description
The original bubble shade was first taken to market by ES Horn but his design was copied by many. The Hamalux branding can be seen on both lamps under the shade. One of the shades has a scratch to the orange paintwork and the opening isn’t perfectly round – it’s been slightly dented at some point in its life. The good news is that both of these things are minor but furthermore, they can be disguised as you can rotate the shade.
The lamps have been fully refurbished, rewired with braided fabric cable and has been PAT tested. As part of the refurbishment process they been updated for the modern home with a black switches, a UK plug and supplied with bright, energy efficient LED spotlight bulb.
