Original 1970’s Midcentury Danish Tall Lounge Armchair By Magnus Olesen

A very stylish, retro armchair by Magnus Olesen Durup, Denmark. Striking from all sides, it features a light oak bent ply seat, turned out arms and a tall, sectioned back. The tilt of the chair is perfect for lounging, providing great support and the combination of blond wood with bold, orange tweed upholstery is an excellent pairing. An original 1970’s piece that works as a stand-alone chair or mixed with other midcentury seating.

SKU: S058

This piece is in excellent vintage condition. There are some signs of minor wear consistent with age and use. There are small scuffs to the wooden legs but the original orange tweed wool upholstery is in near-immaculate condition with hardly any signs of wear or previous use. The maker’s sticker is still affixed and the piece comes from a smoke-free home.
