Original 1970s Magnus Olesen Danish Lounge Chair in Cherry Red Wool

A very stylish, 1970s Botium lounge chair designed by Rud Thygesen and Johnny Sorensen for Magnus Olesen Durup. These two Danish designers worked together for over 30 years, producing some iconic furniture designs, always striking from all sides. This statement armchair features a light oak bent ply seat, exaggerated, turned-out arms, and a sectioned seat and back. The tilt of the chair is perfect for lounging, providing great support and the combination of blond wood with bold, cherry red tweed upholstery is an excellent pairing. An original 1970’s piece that works as a stand-alone chair or mixed with other midcentury seating.
