Neat Vintage 1960s Danish Set of Drawers
One of those neat, vintage pieces of furniture that would look at home in any room from bathroom to boudoir to family space. Sitting on slender, tapered legs, it features three small drawers with shaped wooden handles. With an unfussy design and clean lines, it’s a discreet piece that would mix in with styles and designs from different eras. It dates from some point in the 1960s and is Danish in heritage.
Description
This is an original, vintage small chest of drawers that is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good – excellent, used condition. It has been cleaned and polished inside and out, with a natural beeswax polish but we have otherwise left the original finish alone because it’s in such great condition. All three drawers slide with ease and have clean, tidy interiors. There are some minor marks and faint fading to the exterior wood but nothing to detract from its use or appeal. Please do browse our photos for an accurate sense of condition. A well-made, compact piece that solid and sturdy with no signs of repair. Sadly there is no maker’s label but at the point of acquisition, we were advised it was Danish in origin, dating from the 1960s and the design and construction lead us to believe this is accurate.
