Description
This is an original, vintage piece that is ‘sold as seen’. It is in overall good, used condition. We have checked and cleaned the desk and applied a natural beeswax polish to the exterior wood surfaces but otherwise the finish is all original. All six drawers slide with ease, feature dovetail joints and are in good, clean order inside. The right hand set of drawers is fractionally misaligned, only noticeable under close scrutiny – please refer to our photo. This doesn’t effect the function of the drawers, they slide readily but in the interests of transparency we wanted to detail this. There are some minor superficial marks and scuffs to the external wood surfaces, along with some small knocks to the veneer here and there, primarily on the edges. Please see our photos for a good sense of this. This is a really well made, midcentury piece that was formerly a dressing table, now without the mirror and repurposed as a desk. The Stag label can be seen inside the top left drawer and it dates from the 1960s. Please browse our photos for an accurate sense of the overall condition. Alternatively, we can arrange fast, UK mainland delivery with trusted delivery partners who cover most of the country (enquire for Scotland or remote addresses) and are reliable and insured. We have a weekly collection and onward delivery usually follows 1-5 days later. The delivery service we can offer does require a little flexibility as the drivers work to predetermined routes with other delivery obligations, but you would be kept updated.
