Here’s a large, British midcentury chest of drawers that offers a great deal of practical storage in one place. Six generous drawers make this ideal for the bedroom. It’s good looking with a clean, unfussy design that would mix well with other woods and styles. The subtle integrated handles in a darker wood are particularly fine.

Description

This is an original, vintage chest of drawers that is ‘sold as seen’. Overall, it is in very good, used condition. All six drawers slide with ease and have clean, tidy interiors. There are some scuffs and marks on the exterior wood but these are minor and are not particularly noticeable – please browse our photos to get a sense of these. It’s a well-made, practical piece of storage furniture that’s solidly made with no signs of repair. Sadly the maker’s label is no longer affixed, but it’s British made and in our experience we would date its production to the 1970s. Our photos aim to give an accurate sense of the condition.
