Handsome Vintage Norwegian Dark Bentwood Leather Chair
One of the most handsome midcentury bentwood chairs we’ve seen, it has such a striking, unusual design with extraordinary curves and profile. Its form bends and flexes to create a beautiful sculptural piece of furniture. With deep chocolate brown leather upholstery that’s in excellent condition, it’s superbly comfortable with a perfect tilted seat and taller back for support. It dates from the late seventies and originates from Norway.
Out of stock
This is a used, vintage piece that is ‘sold as seen’. We would describe it as in excellent condition. The chair has been thoroughly cleaned and the leather nourished. It’s soft and supple. There are some minor creases marks on the leather but these are very minimal. The canvas under the leather cushion is in very good condition too. The wooden frame is sturdy and solid, also in excellent condition with only very minor, superficial scuffs. Although no maker’s label affixed anymore, our experience tells us it was mostly likely made by Westnofa.
